FP OPTI2D is an office program, linked to FP PRO, designed to optimize the use of panels, metal sheets and glazing. It grants very high levels of optimization and yet is very easy to use. Through a user-friendly graphic interface, it allows the handling of panels, metal sheets and glass, directly using the lists generated by FP PRO, the definition of the parts to be optimized and the import of work lists from external calculation programs. It also includes functions for the warehouse management for both full sheets and short bars and for the display and graphic printing of the optimized sheets, with clear indication of the cuts to be made and layout of the workpieces. It finally gives statistical information regarding the use of the sheets.
