Award Nomination For Emmegi Customer

The London-based fabricator Everglade Windows, which has just celebrated a decade in partnership with Emmegi (UK), has been shortlisted for one of the window and door industry’s highest accolades.

Everglade is in the running for the Fabricator of the Year title at the upcoming G-21 Awards, with the winner to be announced at a glittering ceremony which will be held at the Hilton Park Lane in November.

Jay Patel, one of the company’s Directors said: “We are thrilled to be named in the Best Fabricator final as it’s the award that every window and door manufacturer really wants in the trophy cabinet.”

One of the reasons why Everglade has been shortlisted is its continued investment in new machinery throughout 2021. A key element of that is a brand-new Emmegi Comet X4 fully soundproofed 4-axis CNC machining centre. This is actually the sixth machine that Everglade has purchased from Emmegi (UK) since 2011 – starting with a Phantomatic T3A and including two Quadra cutting and machining centres, as well as a Comet T6HP and Satellite XT.

When they bought the new Comet X4, Emmegi (UK)’s Managing Director Ian Latimer, commented: “We’ve been involved with Everglade Windows’s expansion for years and have helped them invest in machines which met their longer-term plans. As a result, they are very well prepared for the current record levels of demand and are seeing a really good return on their investment.”
